Who can become a traveling OT?
The journey to becoming a traveling OT begins with obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or a health-related field. Following this, an aspiring occupational therapist must earn a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. After completing OT school, you must pass the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) exam to become a certified occupational therapist. After graduation and earning certification, OTs can start traveling professionally right away.
